Too many consonants

Use a vowel from the board.

Learn the tactic

With too many consonants, look for board vowels and words with consonant clusters (SZCZ, CHRZ, PRZ). Such a move clears several tiles at once and rebalances your rack.

Remember

Excess consonants are easier to clear than excess vowels – but only through a vowel on the board.
