Too many vowels

A scoring move instead of an exchange.

Learn the tactic

A rack full of vowels is trouble because Polish words need consonants. Vowel-heavy words (OAZA, ALEJA, AUTO, OLEJE, ARIA) and board consonants help. Playing several vowels scores and gives you new draws.

Remember

Before exchanging, look for a move that uses three or more vowels.

Find your own move without seeing the answer. Hints remain available, but using them makes this an assisted attempt.
