Two pink squares at once

Connect two pink squares for a fourfold score.

Learn the tactic

Word premiums in one word multiply: two doubles give ×4. The pink squares E5, E11, K5 and K11 are spaced so a seven- or eight-letter word can join them. When you open, avoid giving such a lane to your opponent.

Remember

A lane between two pink squares is one of the most valuable spots on the board – for you and your opponent.
