Ahead? Leave no openings

A move that takes away the opponent’s best spot.

Learn the tactic

The leader tries to close the position: take or block bingo spots and access to red squares. Only a lead of more than 80 points is fairly safe. What counts is the balance: your points minus what you leave your opponent.

Remember

When leading, pick the move with the best balance, not the top score. When trailing, open the game.

Find your own move without seeing the answer. Hints remain available, but using them makes this an assisted attempt.
